UKFM’s story began in Belvedere, Kent, in 2015 as part of UK Freight Masters and Warehousing Ltd. With a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction, UKFM rapidly grew to become a trusted logistics provider. A pivotal milestone came in 2016 when UKFM’s distribution arm joined Palletforce, expanding its capabilities and strengthening its presence in Kent and London. By 2019, the company relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in Erith, Kent, to meet the demands of its ever-expanding operations.
The journey of Dobbs Logistics began in 1961 when John Dobbs, at just 21 years old, founded a personalised delivery service in Eastbourne, East Sussex. With steady growth through the decades, Dobbs Logistics expanded its fleet, embraced innovation with articulated vehicles in the 1970s, and eventually constructed a purpose-built warehouse and high-spec offices in Hailsham in 2006.
In 1998, a strategic merger with Eurohaul brought European transport services to its portfolio, and by the early 2000s, Dobbs Logistics was a proud member of pallet networks. In late 2022, Dobbs Logistics joined the Palletforce family, aligning with the premier pallet network and leveraging the scale and resources of EV Cargo, a global leader in supply chain services.
Founded in 1980 by Paul White, QTR Transport established itself as a leading logistics provider in the UK, offering pallet distribution, general haulage, and warehousing solutions. Headquartered in Newbury and Reading, the company built a reputation for reliability and efficiency.
A significant milestone came in June 2016 when QTR Transport was acquired by Palletforce, further strengthening the network’s reach and service capabilities. Operating under Palletforce’s ownership, QTR Transport played a key role in enhancing distribution services until March 2023.
While our name is new, our core values remain the same. We are built on a foundation of service quality, reliability, and innovation. Together, we now operate from modern facilities in Erith, Newbury, Hailsham and Hastings, supported by a dedicated team of logistics professionals and a fleet of cutting-edge vehicles.
